As soon as our wrought iron farm gate opens for you, you will feel it - Ventena Vecchia - Antico Frantoio is a very special hideaway. Located in the middle of the nature reserve near the village of Moncioni in Chianti, it offers one of the most beautiful views over the Arno Valley and a wonderful place to just be. This is Tuscany at its best.
Whether for your romantic stay as a couple, as a quiet retreat to consciously recharge your batteries, or as a perfect starting point for inspiring excursions to the not far away cities of Florence, Arezzo or Siena - the beauty of our antique olive estate will immediately embrace you and will not let go so quickly. It is not for nothing that we are still an insider tip among Tuscany visitors.
We have lovingly furnished our individual apartments in the historic walls and paid attention to the smallest detail to make you feel at home. Each apartment has a perfectly equipped kitchen, bathrooms with selected tiles, safe and satellite TV with flat screen or classic Bang&Olufsen TV and a music system with Bluetooth connection. Of course, all apartments have separate entrances and charming stone terraces with comfortable outdoor seating. WLAN is available free of charge in all apartments and in the outdoor areas.
Between old stone walls the path leads to our pool, which is located on a natural terrace and has a size of 13 meters x 5 meters. It invites you already in the morning to take your laps with a view of the sun rising over the valley or in the evening to watch the spectacular descent of the sun behind the hills - gladly with a glass of wine from the wineries nearby.
The asphalt road to Ventena Vecchia is in good condition and therefore also suitable for sporty vehicles and vintage cars. For your car there is a private parking space on the fenced property.

The careful renovation of the old farmhouse has respected the original floor plans and revived a raw ambience characterized by niches, wooden beams and parts of the original stone walls. The result is beautiful individual apartments with historic charm.
